Advice Request Retrieve 5yold Gmail

A relative has this problem: Gmail removed from the server, without any user move,some emails that were more than 5yold. Now unfortunately they would be badly needed, so the problem is
how can you retrieve those emails?
I have not found a way to do this with Gmail,yet.
Relative is using Mac,but at the time was on Windows and Thunderbird.
Perhaps a recovery program searching the former pc hard disk,hoping they're still retrievable?
What about asking Gmail?
Anyone?

1. Check the Trash folder in Gmail. Emails deleted from the inbox are moved here and stay for 30 days before permanent deletion.
2. Use the "All Mail" label to check if the email was archived.
3. If the emails were synced with Thunderbird, you might find them in local folders.

If none of these work, you could try data recovery software on the old PC, but success isn't guaranteed.

I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, if Gmail has automatically deleted the emails and they're not in the Trash or archived, the chances of recovery are slim. Google Support might be able to help, but typically they can't recover emails deleted more than 30 days ago. Using a data recovery tool on the old PC might be the last resort.

I mean: are Inbox-deleted (by Gmail) old ones retrievable in some way or another before trying to check if feasible in the old HD?

Contact Google for help, this is the only feasible way to proceed. Next time use gmail backup software, it's free.
