At the current pace of AI development, true cybernetic integration is rapidly approaching. The breakthrough to watch for isn't just physical prosthetics, but cognitive augmentation through direct neural interfaces. That is probably why Elon Musk founded Neuralink he recognized early on that closing the gap between the human brain and Ai is the next big step.

That being said I would prefer a Seven of Nine instead of a C3PO.

I think we have seen this before in Europe when humans were devalued and treated like mindless animals and human units. It didn't end well.
