this helped me decide between disconnect and adguard vpn. are hush and better redundant?
They are, I actually deleted both but forgot to edit it here. I personally prefer Disconnect over AdGuard in terms of speed and also anti-tracking / fingerprinting, but it doesn't block ads. Thats why I am using Adguard atm together with it's VPN with compatible mode. I personally think that Safari has great anti-tracking options built in and doesn't require any other apps that increase your fingerprint and doesn't add much value.

I't would be great to be able to use adguard pro with disconnect vpn, but they (adguard) kind of have a one stop solution.
It is compatible actually. You can use the Split-Tunnel-Mode, but I don't want to try it tbh.

Thats interesting, I thought I read somewhere that that breaks/doesn't work, I'd totally be all in on disconnect with adguard, though Veepn does have some very nice blocking.
As I said I never tried it before, but it should work theoretically...

also tried disconnect and disconnect privacy dns for a day or so and had so many problems, went back to adguard premium/vpn which works 70% of the time.

From Iphone 8, I also upgraded to Iphone 13. I got one bug: could not update automatically my apps in the App Store. At first I thought the issue might be related to NextDns. I disabled it but no change.
Then I disabled my settings in the App Store, waited 10 seconds, and enabled them again. Automatic updates ran nicely. So far, I like that phone.

Also had a similar problem. At first I wasn't able to restore all apps of my backup. The apps stopped in the middle of the installation so I had to cancel the installation and install them one by one again. :cautious:
