Shutting down PC with ShadowDefender Active

I am trying out SD, and was wondering what is the proper shutdown technique?

Turn off Shadow mode, and then shutdown PC, or just shutdown the PC?

There is an option to start SD on boot but I noticed that just the tray icon appears in the system tray, and I had to manually start shadow mode. Is this normal?

Advice is appreciated.

Both ways work the same...that's my remarks after 7 years with SD.

Each method...hard reset or system crash, "switch off" from system command or from SD menus...have to work the same and with the same efficiency. It's due to vital role of SD what is to recover working ang healthy system after rebooting it no matter of reason (especialy because of malware attack/infection).
