I recently found Spigot adware on my Mac with "Domain Error Assistant" and "Ebay Shopping Assistant" extensions installed on chrome. I understand these cause pop-up ads and can collect my browsing data. Can this malware see the contents of files that I download through my chrome browser? What else is it capable of? I appreciate any help!
