SRWare Iron (install and portable)

Does anyone know if SRWare Iron (install version) supports Update checks?

In comparison to Comodo Dragon, anyone would give me some comparison?

finally, I am looking also to add this as a portable tool. Recommended?

I haven't used SRWare Iron in a long time.

Comodo Dragon installs a background service for the updater, that's all I know.

nope it's not connected to any server, that's part of the awesome privacy it has vs. chrome...I prefer it even over dragon because it has a built-in ad blocker and because of the privacy.

Comodo Dragon: Privacy/security oriented browser, can be made portable, use Comodo SecureDNS, Comodo site inspector built-in, auto-updater background service (can be disabled manually by tweaking your services)
