Is it safe to downgrade firefox ? I dont like its UI and. And I don't get the feel of firefox when i try to switch to others. I'm planning to install Firefox 28

It's safe, but in the long term it will be a risk if a major flaw is discovered.

Try and use the latest versions, but alternates. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Palemoon and Waterfox use the previous UI. Ask other FF users for a more accurate answer.

I'm experiencing a lot of memory usage in PM , more than 300 MB. Is this normal or what?
I even noticed more then 1 GB to 2 GB ram. I only installed a few addons. Normally it will take 400- 700 ram in my pc but i don't like how it eat CPU usage , even yandex is lighter then palemoon in my ystem.

@marg there are a lot of portable versions of different browsers, better try one of these if you are having difficulty uninstalling. BTW Opera uninstalls easily in my rig
