First "load" is usually longer because it needs to analyse exe's file to retrieve version. Then the performance is better because of HDD/SSD cache (or Windows virtual memory) i think (no specific cache in SUMo for that). If it really takes 43 secs for less than 100 entries in a systematic manner, please send me your log file for analysis.
I'd also recommend to check that debug mode is DISABLED in SUMo, for better performance.
This NordVPN issue was supposed to be fixed in previous release. Please delete both (but not Permanent Ignore !) from SUMo and run a new scan.
Tell me if it fixes the issue.

I imagine those who use a program such as SUMO are enthusiasts & by definition often are beta testers? Does this cause the occasional beta glitch? Nice program BTW 
If I'm not wrong the legacy SB and the new SB Plus are different programs so cannot use the latter to update the former. How you want to separate the two programs is like Chromium which has many versions hosted at different sites.
The Chromium v89.x.x is pure Chromium if I'm not wrong. I'm using Ungoogled Chromium v87.0.4280.67 (by Eloston) whereas the Ungoogled Chromium version at woolyss is v87.0.4280.88. Both are for Windows x64 and using Chromium 64-bit as their base. Looking at the below SUMo screenshot of my Ungoogled Chromium I can see that it's not right

Yup, had this problem for at least a couple months now, got to the point where I just put Firefox portable on the ignore list.
