Troubleshoot Taskbar Auto-hide doesn't work after clicking the Start button.

Anyone having this problem? The taskbar won't auto-hide after clicking the start button. Is this a bug with the new updates? What should I do to fix this?

Yeah, I restart the PC but it's still there.

LOL. I really want to fix it. I can't even use the scrollbar at buttom of the start button.

Hmm ..
On my Windows XP, right click on Start button, then click on Properties / Taskbar - here I have to notch or unnotch the boxes: Auto-hide the taskbar, and - other too interesting ..

Nope sir. But I figured out the culprit and it's the cursor. You must drag away your cursor from the start button as fast as you can after clicking the start button.

Hey guys, the real culprit is KB2990532 not the cursor. After uninstalling that update the bug is gone. That's really weird.
