Agree, Trend is still a good AV, just installed it on a couple of friends/neighbours laptops with full confidence.

Yes you do. The installer doesn't come packed with an inbuilt key as it states, so basically, you are installing it without a license key and it would ask you to input one instantly.

I used this TM in 2023 with the trial version, and it works fine for 6 month. I think that this offer is the same.

License is built in on the installer. Likely this won't work if you already used TM before in your machine. Try on a VM or a fresh windows install and it should work.

I tried this on multiple machines and none worked. Each time, right after installation, it popped up the box where I need to enter the license number. First I thought it was the update that messed up the entire thing (an update was being downloaded once I ran the installer) but no, I disconnected from internet to stop the update, but ended up in the same situation.
