Trend Micro has a history of significantly making the surface attack area bigger in systems where its products are deployed, it is bad in enterprise products because of its glacial development cycle and it is even worse on home user products because they dont care at all with that market.

It makes me really wonder why a home user would willing buy and install Trend Micro, just why punish yourself? Maybe because the beautiful 2015 interface that is still used today?
Dont buy the 100 % detection AV-Comparatives results, it is a terrible product, always has been, just use Microsoft Defender or something decent like Kaspersky, ESET, Emisisoft or Bitdefender.

I presume that we are effectively utilizing the software developed with priority on business use.
There is not a small demand for employees to select software used by the company for their personal pc as well.
