The screenshot you posted simply shows threat cleaning/remediation in the real-time protection, i.e. delete file, quarantine, or ignore. It's not Ransomware Remediation.

Can you provide a link from the Eset forum where it's stated that it's now included in the premium version, which someone shouldn't have to upgrade to a premium version (if it were included) for remediation.

Correct but…. Yes there are cheaper solutions but ask your self , why so cheap ? Like proven on this forum it comes with some “ bonus “ features like:

Nagscreens
Upselling
Data harvesting
Protection is lesser
Advertisements to buy other products because your computer is in danger
Etc.

Everyone has to choose what they prefer, for me what ever you choose you choose it for a reason.

If you are happy with what you have installed then be happy !

Yeah, this product-centric pay-me-more approach is what used to hurt the Norton and McAfee sales years ago, and Eset is walking down the same road (not sure why, looking at others’ mistakes is a standard practice in business). They’ll learn. In 2-3 years.

Acording to their online help Ransomwere Redemiation is available only in Ultimate plan, Premium plan doesn't have those options included in online help.

LiveGuard is offered… ransomware remediation is not mentioned anywhere on the product pages…

Edit: ransomware remediation is not in the home products at all.

Ransomware Remediation is only in the Endpoint Security portfolio. So Eset is not really NGAV.
