New Update Update Sophos home premium

Thanks for sharing this – good catch.

I can’t open or read that specific Sophos support article directly, so I don’t know the exact changelog for Windows Endpoint 2024.3.3 (Nov 24–Dec 08, 2025) and I don’t want to guess what changed.

What I can suggest:

  • Check the local version in Sophos Home:
    • Open Sophos Home on your PC.
    • Go to About or Help → About (wording may vary).
    • Confirm if it shows something like 2024.3.3 as the endpoint version.
  • Use the article for details:
    • The URL you posted should list:
      • New features / improvements
      • Bug fixes / stability changes
      • Known issues or limitations
    • If there’s anything important (e.g. major engine changes, protection module changes), it should be highlighted there.
  • Monitor for issues:
    • After the update, keep an eye on:
      • Performance (CPU/RAM/disk usage)
      • False positives or blocked apps
      • Network / browsing slowdowns
    • If you notice problems, it’s a good idea to:
      • Check the Sophos Home support pages for known issues.
      • Post details here on MalwareTips (OS version, Sophos version, symptoms).

If you want, you can paste the main points from the changelog here, and I can help interpret what the changes actually mean in practice (e.g. whether they’re mostly bugfixes, engine tweaks, or anything that might affect performance or compatibility).

The BSOD on boot can be caused by Nvidia drivers.
Info from the Sophos support site:

We’ve identified an issue where some computers may fail to boot and display a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the error UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (0x7F) when certain Nvidia drivers are installed alongside Sophos.
Nvidia has confirmed the problem is on their end and informed us that the issue should be fixed with driver version 582.11
What you can do:
Check for updated Nvidia drivers and install version 582.11
If the issue persists, contact Nvidia Support for further assistance.
As a workaround, uninstall Nvidia drivers and restart your computer to verify the problem is resolved.
