Hi all,
Not really a troubleshooting question but just more of a general enquiry, as nothing is really broken.
I've just completed a reformat of Prime (My Computer). Of course when you do this you have install quite a few updates as well. Just recently I bought a 3TB WD Elements to store Music on. Previous to the rebuild this drive only had 3 Folders. Now I notice a folder named with random letters and numbers.
I remember asking a friend of mine a while ago as I noticed it on a older drive years old. He advised me that Windows updates sometime try to install on the HDD that has the most space remaining?!?
All I want to know is, is this true? And if so, is there any way to prevent this from happening?
P.S. I also remember these folders causing some issues when the drives the folders were located on were not connected and MS Security Essentials tried to update.
Thanks for help again in advance.
