Hello, For the past two days I have been having a problem where AVG antivirus has been giving me pop up messages saying that it has blocked a connection that was infected with URL:Mal (see screenshot). Running a scan with AVG, I am unable to find what is causing these connection attempts. These messages appear periodically roughly every 10 minutes, and I've noticed that my computer seems slower than usual. Researching the destination of this attempted connection, I found a blog article from MalwareTips about how to remove this browser redirect adware. (I'd link to this blog article, but I made an earlier post on this problem which disappeared, and I'm worried that it was removed due to having an active link to the blog and naming the destination of the redirect.) I followed all the instructions in the article, scanning with Zemana, Malwarebytes, and HitmanPro, but none of these programs could find any threats. Would somebody be able to help me find and get rid of whatever is trying to make these repeated connection attempts? Thank you so much in advance
