I'll agree. Too much delay compared to the earlier version.
Have disabled it for now. Adding to AV's exception list is well needed if that isn't done. My KIS used to even delay the entire VDS process as my heuristics is high with on access mode. Added to exceptions and it improved a bit.
Be patient, as they are going through a transition, Dan has mentioned on Wilders that he is bringing
on a new fella, maybe not "new" per-say but new to the VS team.
Things will get back on track with time.

Hi,

Could someone advise where to whitelist VoodooShield.exe and VoodooShieldService.exe in KIS 2017 please
put it in the "Threats and Exclusions" and mark it "Trusted" (i think it's already is) in the "Application Control"

I have noticed a significant slowdown + consistently high CPU usage in v3.51
Now I'm trying v3.52 for a few hours, it seems to be a bit better

perhaps, installing v3.50 can solve the problem
http://www.voodooshield.com/Download/beta3/InstallVoodooShield350.exe
i will try 3.50 and report back, when i reinstalled 3.51/3.52, it was instantly doing high CPU usage.

ps: installing 3.50 seem to solved the issue, CPU usage is back to normal.
fwskE5F.png

that's while having chrome running and Voodoo on Smart.

Great! I will be waiting, that's why I've disabled it and not uninstalled it :)
I already have DA, so the only main protection from VDS missing is Lockdown, and My KIS is configured for that. Yet, I use VDS once before running any unknown file..

can you send the DeveloperLog.log (in C:\ProgramData\VoodooShield)

to support@voodooshield.com

I sent him my log and he identified tons of problems. He explained to me something and said it would be an easy fix. 1 of the error was related to voodooshield's server => VoodooAi took longer time to process

problem is i have 5 log files (i guess the txt gets cut into pieces) and i don't know which ones are relevant.
although now i have a new issue, Voodoo hard locks Chrome frequently when i open an URL from outside Chrome and totally stops any new connection opening (internet doesn't stop but if i want to open a new connection to anything, it won't work), even if i restart Voodoo, only full PC restart helps.

just a heads up, got my issue solved by deleting the voodooshield folder in programdata(while Voodooshield is closed and the Service is stopped) and using 3.52b.
Dan helped me out, great support!

Fun fact: I uninstalled VS and my Internet connection literally died. While all my other phones and pc have Internet and WiFi, neither any of them will work on this system. Tried literally everything I know, and Google knows, and I can't have my connection back, not even System Restore is helping (actually after uninstalled VS, system restore is failing to restore). This is way to weird and it doesn't seem to be caused by VoodooShield, but it was just after I uninstalled it and rebooted. Well anyways, while I prepare my backup CD I'm letting you know to see if anyone else had a similar problem or this is just an internal problem and VS uninstall was coincidence.

it seems to me your windows has so many problems. It's better to reinstall it and install a proper wifi driver from the official website and don't update it :))
I remember you also have a problem with avast firewall. now you have EIS

I don't know... I used to have a problem with Avast's Firewall and i fixed it by uninstalling it but it never broke my system. And my windows was always working well... Anyways, i used my backup and everything's working again.

it seems like Kaspersky is causing DNS resolving issues which can be resolved by renaming/deleting the filter driver.

just realized you don't use KIS, welp.
