Advice Request VoodooShield update problem

Good morning, I'm running VoodooShield 3.38 beta in my home machine. I wanted to upgrade to the latest version. I saw a "Check for updates" button into VoodooShield settings, but It's not working, because I clicked it and prompted me "you have the latest version". Do I have to full uninstall the software and re-install it?

Voodooshield won't update automatically until it comes out of beta.

u can simply install it over the top of the old beta, it works nice

I'm curious to know where you got this information from as there's no mention of it that I can see on the "other" forum?

Good news!

All beta versions of VS starting from 3.48 will automatically update to a newer version when one is released. The manual check for updates option will also work in the same way.

Your'e both right. It looks like the manual check is not functional in this release.

Tested again and found the popup sometimes appears behind the main window which gives the impression nothing has happened... but it is there...

This could be a Bug which can always happen , let's wait for a fix ...

That's odd. I don't know if it makes any difference to the outcome but installed 3.47 first and then automatically upgraded to 3.48.

As you say it's buggy either way and will hopefully fixed in the next release.

If everything goes well with VS, Dev mentioned stable version 3.5 release before the year end.
