I'm talking about people that can't afford RAM upgrades but have Flash Drives that are ready to be used for ReadyBoost. :s

Try and let us know if you notice any improvements. You can use HDTune FREE (scroll down to download the free version or use a similar tool) to test your USB sticks and see which one might be the best to use. I guess you are probably looking for the fastest access time.

I didn't hear this feature nor used but since its capable like minimum 1GB RAM, I think on my mom's netbook its not necessarily to use it. Works fast and no problems.

ReadyBoost essentially uses a SSD or USB with access times <.1ms. It's helpful for keeping a cache of recently/commonly used files in an area that's faster than your hard drive.

If you already have a lot of RAM your OS will be using it to cache already so you won't notice any difference by using readyboost.

It's a cool feature but mostly for people with 1GB of RAM.

Just for extra information: Windows Vista Readyboost has many restrictions which were removed in that of Windows 7.

That would be useful however these days, laptops have more than 1GB RAM and the user satisfied it already. Also more people already used more than 1GB RAM.

Win7...your system is YOUR system, yours is not THE standard. On mine Nlightly use around 350mb and even reached 600. They were no bugs.
