It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

WardWiz is a security solution developed by WardWiz Technologies, an Indian cybersecurity company.
The antivirus is designed to protect Windows systems against malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware and other online threats.
WardWiz Essential Plus offers real-time protection, web protection, USB and removable-media security, ransomware protection and additional security features designed to keep your system protected.

In this video, I put WardWiz Essential Plus to the test against real-world malware, including a large malware pack and ransomware, to see how well it can protect an infected system.

Interface :

WardWiz features a very lightweight interface with very few settings.
The software is designed to be user-friendly for beginners: just install it and forget about it!
It's also very lightweight.

Malware URL : 2/9
WardWiz does not have web filtering, so its interceptor is the one being tested.
The results are disastrous: many infections slip through undetected. The engine blocks only two downloads.

Malware Pack : 90 out of 168 threats remain
Despite its poor performance online, I still wanted to test the package.
The result is clear: the machine is very, very infected, even though there were few system freezes, and TokyoCore Ransomware brought the test to a close.
Given the high number of infections, the system freezes, and the encrypted data, I had to stop the test.

Final scan : N/A (PC blocked)

Final opinion:

WardWiz offers a beautiful, elegant interface that’s especially well-suited for beginners.
But that’s where it ends!
Security: It’s a complete zero. Very few detections, no web filtering, no protection against unknown malware—the antivirus is too weak to protect users from today’s threats.
Not recommended.

Just for fun, let's complete their company slogan..

Never heard of WardWiz Technologies in India...🥴
Quick Ai and found this founded in 2014, operating out of Pune, India, with roots tied to German anti-virus development.:sleep:
Further dig "german origin" The specific German origin of WardWiz traces back to its original engineer and founder, Harold Swender.
When the software was first conceptualized in 2014, Swender built the cybersecurity system from the ground up in Germany. His goal was to engineer a proactive anti-malware framework tailored primarily for personal computers, smartphones, and small businesses rather than massive corporate networks. To bring this technology to market globally, the company established a dual footprint:The German Hub: WardWiz Deutschland GmbH handles the underlying core architecture and security development from its base in Friedrichsdorf/Karben, Germany.
The Global Rollout: To commercialise the tech efficiently, they set up operational and distribution centers through WardWiz India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Pune. Interestingly, they saw their first major explosive commercial success in the South Asian market, quickly climbing into the region's top security vendors before re-expanding back heavily into European markets like Germany and the UK.

When you buy a digital or physical copy of the software, the registration paperwork and official "Country of Origin" labels list WardWiz Deutschland GmbH in Karben, Germany as the official manufacturer.A good way to look at it is like this:The Engineering: German (developed under the leadership of CEO Harald Sünder in Germany). The Operations & Support: Indian (handled by their corporate office in Pune to keep technical support and distribution running seamlessly). Its technical DNA, corporate architecture, and legal product origin are strictly German.
