MalwareTips is now back online after a scheduled maintenance window. We’ve just completed a major infrastructure upgrade, and our site is now running on a new-generation dedicated server.
What changed?
Compared to our previous setup, the new server brings a massive performance leap:
- 3.5× More Powerful CPU: We've moved from a 2020-generation processor to a cutting-edge 2025 AMD architecture, delivering dramatically improved performance in both single and multi-threaded tasks. This means the site handles high traffic, heavy pages, and searches faster than ever.
- Triple the RAM: Our new setup features 192 GB of DDR5 memory, up from 64 GB — giving us plenty of headroom for spikes in traffic and resource-intensive operations.
- Ultra-fast NVMe 4.0 Storage: We’ve upgraded from smaller SSDs to PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives, which are over 6× faster than traditional SSDs. This improves everything from search speed to page loading.
- Enhanced Network Speeds: Our server is connected via a 1 Gbps unmetered dedicated port, ensuring faster, more stable connections for users worldwide — especially during peak traffic hours.
What this means for you:
- Faster browsing and navigation
- Smoother experience even during peak load
- Improved reliability and uptime
- Scalability for future features and traffic growth
