Question What av to take?

Please provide comments and solutions that are helpful to the author of this topic.
Why don't we say that COMODO is a complete product that doesn't need frequent updates, while Bitdefender, on the other hand, is riddled with bugs despite frequent updates?

It's no surprise that Bitdefender is known here on MT as BugDefender.

Note: The video you watched belongs to someone whose videos are frequently posted here on MT, and even Shadowra knows about it, he is "NB InfoTech".
I have never had a bug with Bitdefender. I don't know what you're talking about? What's more, I have had more bugs and problems with Kasperky than with Bitdefender.
Bitdefender is updated because it modernizes its power against threats, not just to fix supposed "bugs."
Now I have Avast, because I change antivirus constantly and I haven't had a bug either.

Comodo is on a winning streak... charming its way into tests, posts, threads, AIs, minds, hearts, souls, and my friends' profiles here! 😊 I couldn't help but chuckle when I heard the catchy melody of "Comodo Comodo Comodo" playing on loop on my friend @oldschool's profile! 😘
I stopped changing AVs and settled on MD, but I might consider switching to CIS, why not? After all, COMODO users are pretty cute. 😘

What about when you install the free version it downloads and installs the total security version then immediately removes the paid components and after rebooting the machine it immediately says a new version is available, this didn't happen once, it happens every time I try it, it writes about 800MB every 1–2 hours when it updates signatures, you mentioned MD issues with SSD, if that's not a big issue with SSD I don't know what is.

On the other hand, if there is a king in antivirus software, it is Kaspersky, and nothing comes close.

K7 are also spammers of the highest order, I used them for a while & received content reminders my system is at risk for two years maybe more, unsubscribing changed nothing, advertising a product is fair dinkum but spamming me not on, for that reason alone never again
I never face any of the ad with K7!

Bitdefender and Avast come close, even surpass it.

I faced a lot, literally daily marketing. Now it seems to have stopped, I must’ve unsubscribed.

K7 and Panda spam like there is no tomorrow. Panda, I just ended up blocking their marketing addresses, unsubscribing didn’t work.

Comodo will send you no emails. 💁🏻‍♂️

Not all that glitters is gold. Despite having so many billions, they make mistakes as if they were a small company.
Security, marketing, business errors, etc.
No million-dollar company hits me, therefore I have no reason to defend it.
You declared Microsoft Defender irrelevant (as long as 3rd party solutions exist) despite the reality being quite the opposite. They overwhelmingly dominate the cybersecurity market, for better or worse, and the technologies behind their efforts are nothing short of advanced. Thoroughly intelligent people trust Defender on a personal and enterprise basis.

The companies you support and defend are worth substantial sums of money, too.

well fwiw, I took a look at Xcitium several months ago (maybe a year ago now) and I must have been in a brain fog cuz I gave them a mobile number, and their sales people call me every few months... ugh. IIRC I never installed it. Oh well, Robokiller is getting better at blocking spam calls.

I haven't receive an email from K7 for 18 months, but Panda emails me constantly. I haven't unsubscribed from either. Panda emailed me 17 times one month.

Yeah. The unsubscribe button does nothing. Thankfully I used a throwaway email so I just deleted that email for good. I can't recommend K7.

A security company that doesn't respect your privacy is not protecting your security at all.

I therefore conclude:
Favorite AV giants in MWT..
