Serious Discussion What happens if you connect Windows XP to the Internet in 2024?

Thanks for sharing! However, connecting Windows XP to the internet in 2024 can be risky due to lack of updates and security patches, making it vulnerable to malware and cyber attacks.

Totally agree, it's an useless test.
There are no Microsoft XP security patches installed, there is no AV running, FW is disabled and all ports are wide open asking malware for "please do come in, attack me!" .
Again the test is totally pointless.

LOL that monitor image is obviously Photoshopped or it is a FSB "staged" image, at least on my display. The article author - if there is even a real person behind it - just could not help themselves.

What I do see very clearly though is one of Putin's famous $500,000 USD platinum watches. He has a thing for platinum and hand-made connoisseur custom watches. Such things are possible when you own a platinum mine and your personal piggy bank is the nation's coffers.

That's easier said than done.
On a bare Windows XP without Service Pack 3, without around 160 Microsoft Security patches, without AV and without FW things can go wrong easily.
Open up IE use some ActiveX, Flash or Shockwave for instance.

Not sure about that. :):ROFLMAO:
I`m sure that they wouldn`t risk being sent to a Siberian prison camp to correct the error of thier ways.;)

In my opinion nothing going to happen, if user doesn’t do any stupid thing on his part
First stupid thing not to do is let the world know you`re using an outdated unsupported operating system.
