I'm using uBlock Origin, it's light and simple to use. I used in the past all of these adblocker and I think uBlock Origin is the Best. What is your favorite ad blocker? The light is more uBlock Origin also in your opinion?

Mod Edit: added additional adblocks. Note that most work with Firefox and Chrome.

I have mixed experience with uBlock O. Not all pages render properly. ABP works fine out of the box. Ghostery is not an ad blocker. You can use some of its features but basically obsolete if you are using an ad blocker already.

Me2, that's the reason I switched back to good old ABP and be really happy with it, can count the number of ads going trough on my hand.
Love the ad removal it does to Youtube
My ABP is set to allow not even unobstrusive ads. I combine it with WOT and the 360 Internet Protection, it works well and I've got no infection by drive-by-malware by now.
Cannot speak about FF (only use Chrome, always latest stable) but I'm sure above mentioned extensions will work there flawlessly, too.
When will Edge finally support something like that...

My vote goes to uBlock Origin because with "advanced-user mode" you can block scripts. This can be useful against malware.

Dynamic filtering: quick guide · gorhill/uBlock Wiki · GitHub
For me this is what puts uBlock Origin clear of the chasing pack. Although dynamic filtering is only available if Advanced User mode is enabled you certainly don't need to be an advanced user to be able to use it. As the guide you've linked shows, it could hardly be simpler. For instance, one click to global block, say, 3rd party frames, one more click to set a local rule exception. Pages also load faster with uBlock Origin than any other adblocker I've used.

I'm very puzzled by the issues some people have had with it. It's pretty much the only adblocker I haven't had problems with.

After Ad Muncher I was using µBlock long time but it did not work to good on some (warez)sites without much manual blocking. Somebody told me I should give Adguard a chance and I did and I must say that I am glad like in my Ad Muncher time. Nitroflare.com is a site with evil advertising and on sites like this µBlock did not actually helps - with Adguard mostly I don't have any advertising on this sites.
