Europe is getting warmer than average this summer.
It was about 36.6 C here (98 F) when I went running on Tuesday. Tolerable is right, any warmer and I run in the early morning. Thankfully very dry here. Cooler today with rain clouds on the horizon. Maybe some relief.
You are right; it should be interpreted in the context of humidity, wind speed, and cloud cover.
Fortunately it does not get too humid here in summer; 40 celsius here is more tolerable than 35 in Europe for the high humidity.
Currently it's 32°C, went as high as 33°C today and it was actually very pleasant outside in shade due to light breeze. It's expected for temps to go up to 39°C on Sunday and Monday, but it appears heatwave won't last long as strong thunderstorms are forecasted for the next week.
Well of course the best StarLink connection is on the sun.
