My area has been similar. We got torrential rain the other day after it being in the 90s. The problem is we use evaporative coolers and it’s been so humid they aren’t working well at all.

Weekend was hot, up to 35°C. Today temperatures started to drop because of coming rain. We just had a short storm which caused a mess in Slovenia and are expecting new one in the evening or late at night. I mean, you know it's bad when The Weather Channel's website is all red with extreme thunderstorm warning.

We're just getting used to this weather. When I was a kid, hail would come down once per season, now it's so often you stop counting. Luckily, my area didn't have a hail for some time now, but everywhere around me... wow. The weather started to be predictable here: few hot days 34°C -> massive rain/hail storm drops temperatures -> slowly warming up to 34°C -> strong storm with hail again and it goes like this entire summer. I'll never forget summer in 2014. Temperatures rarely went over 30°C and it rained pretty much every week entire summer. It really felt like autumn and there were massive floods in the region.

Might sound strange, but I hate summer. Very hot temperatures, strong thunderstorms, annoying mosquitos and bugs. My favorite time of the year is winter. I'd rather be cold than hot, and weather is generally nice in winter, without annoying creatures. Plus it's Christmas season which I absolutely love like a little child.

I wish I could just move to Scandinavia until the temperatures go back to normal here.

This is the same for us. I remember the first time we got a huge hail storm when I was old enough to remember. It damaged my parent’s car. It was a huge event. Now we get those storms multiple times a year. Spring, summer and fall.
