For the desert southwest of the United States it is around average. Mid June is when we start peaking into 90°F+.Very nice for mid May isn't it but it is really mid June weather unfortunately and that's being conservative.

Good lord, how can people endure that? 158 FIt's 70 C in kuwait
They can't, according to Google the hottest temp ever recorded was 56.7C, now if we are talking "Feels Like" temp then that is a different story and should be stated.Good lord, how can people endure that? 158 F
They don't walk out, just driving conditioned cars and living in conditioned houses, even in midnight you will feel like you are in oven.Good lord, how can people endure that? 158 F
I was never a fan of the 'Feels like' index but you can see with all the recent tech they are approaching a relevant guess and now, with the application of AI to forecasting, that will be the next revolution in the field, I hope I live to see itmy station is reporting 3 temps at 1215 local civil (1040 local app solar time)
93.3 F (34 C), 116.3 F (46.8 C) heat index & 129.3 F (54.0 C) THSW index -- my limited understanding is the the last index takes humidity and other factors into consideration. I find:
"THSW a calculated index that uses humidity and temperature from the Heat Index, but also includes the heating effects of sunshine and the cooling effects of wind (like Wind Chill) to calculate an apparent temperature of what it “feels” like out in the sun. The THSW Index requires a solar radiation sensor"
