I think in the future the happiest countries will be the ones that the can provide its average citizen or young family affordable housing. Not seeing much of that at the moment.

Indeed, it's become a crisis in major cities here in Canada. For many young adults especially, it's now a fantasy to own a home rather than an achievable dream

Extreme temperature swings over a 24 hr or less period are fairly routine where I live, mainly during the Winter months. It's not uncommon to get 20 C or more swings, the worst of which are going from typically about +10 C to a frigid -20 C or colder. It's much nicer when we go from cold to warm. Thank goodness for the occasional Chinooks
