I love that movie, it is part of my collection. It inspired Matrix and lets not even dive into Mandela Effect.I plan to rewatch Dark City. That movie shows how memory can be as manipulable as a misplaced file.
Next Gen (2018) - 7723 - Listen. Our memories make us, who we are. Do not let the bad ones stop you from making good ones. Go make new memories.
Next Gen (2018) - Mai - You were trying to tell me and I, ... those memories were all you had and you give them up ... for me. I am sorry.
Waiting for Zootopia 2. Fun fact. Zootopia 1 was released in 2016, Utopia by Thomas More was released in 1516, exactly 500 years ago and it is basically the same concept.

I haven’t watched Paradise yet, but it’s on my list right after I finish The Seven Dials Mystery by Agatha Christie on Netflix. Even though they’re very different in style, both play with that same vibe of power and secrets that keeps you hooked.
So far (episodes 1 and 2) it’s been pretty entertaining: classic mystery, elegant pacing, and suspense that doesn’t feel overwhelming. I like mixing lighter stuff with heavier ones, and this miniseries hits that balance nicely.
In the end, it doesn’t matter if the secrets hide in British mansions with conspiratorial clocks or in presidential hallways full of intrigue: sooner or later they squeak louder than a rusty door… and that’s when the fun begins.![]()
Just watched this: COMA : Tubi
Just watched this: COMA : Tubi
Thanks, @Halp2001, I just added Coma to my Tubi watchlist. The trailer left me with the feeling that, even if it doesn’t turn out to be a masterpiece, it at least promises a visual journey worth taking. The aesthetics instantly reminded me of Inception (2010, Christopher Nolan) and also Paprika (2006, Satoshi Kon), with those mental worlds folding in on themselves. And if not, well… we’ll always have DiCaprio running through endless hallways…
After wandering through the suspense of Seven Dials and the intrigue of Paradise (thanks @goodjohnjr), diving into this alternate universe of Coma feels refreshing. After all, shifting from riddles to mental labyrinths is almost as natural as moving from decoding malware keys to decoding narrative ones. So yes, it’s officially on my watchlist now.![]()
I hit pause on Paradise to give COMA a shot… and ended up in a self‑induced coma. The storyline is so scattered it feels like it was drafted in Excel with shuffled cells. The visuals, occasionally striking, often look like they were rendered on a “pirated AutoCAD with a hangover.”Thanks, @Halp2001, I just added Coma to my Tubi watchlist.
Inception is one of my favorite movies, and I also liked Paprika.
So based on your description, I will probably like it.![]()
Thank you, @Halp2001 for the warning / review, that is unfortunate.I hit pause on Paradise to give COMA a shot… and ended up in a self‑induced coma. The storyline is so scattered it feels like it was drafted in Excel with shuffled cells. The visuals, occasionally striking, often look like they were rendered on a “pirated AutoCAD with a hangover.”
Funny enough, the trailer is actually better than the movie itself: in two minutes it promises an intense ride, but stretched to ninety minutes the mix thins out and loses steam.
The final product feels like a sloppy cocktail: a splash of Inception, a dash of Paprika, a sprinkle of Matrix, all shaken with cheap vodka and served without ice. The result: confusing, unengaging, and hard to take seriously.
Still, if the goal is to kill some time without taxing your brain, it works… though I can’t shake the feeling I was sold HD smoke![]()
