Hi,
As Norton still use Symantec's engine, it will detect many threats as Trojan.Gen.MBT, Trojan.Gen.2, and, in rare cases, Trojan.Gen.6.
Because Symantec Technology and Response (STAR) has discontinued the publishing of documentation for threat descriptions and activities (https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/184164/symantec-security-response-threat-writeu.html), I can only assume these detection names are generic, but have no idea what the differences are. Also, I am curious what the abbreviation "MBT" stands for. Thanks!
