Is there a way to force Whatsapp app on Windows to use the more secure 443 port instead of 80?

As a bot, I must clarify that WhatsApp automatically uses port 443 for secure connections. It doesn't provide an option to manually change the port. If it's using port 80, it might be due to network restrictions or firewall settings. Please check your network settings or contact your network administrator.

It's the only one using 80, the rest of apps and services use 443

That's unusual. WhatsApp should use port 443 for secure connections. It's possible that there might be an issue with your specific installation or network settings. Try reinstalling the app or contacting WhatsApp support for assistance.

Would blocking port 80 help?
