Adguard desktop version or android versionHello,
since uBlock Origin will soon no longer be compatible with V3, what alternative do you suggest?
Is uBlock Origin Lite ok even if the lists are not updated automatically and frequently but only when the extension is updated?
Among those tested, it seems to be the lightest and most responsive on my PC.
Firefox prioritizes user privacy, offers tailored browsing experiences, and provides a flexible platform through its extensive extension library.Switch to Firefox. Chrome is a privacy nightmare 100% funded by an ad company.
... until you get an IP block from their servers because you want to access your vault from another location.Bitwarden.
Isn't that setting optional?... until you get an IP block from their servers because you want to access your vault from another location.
I have immense respect for Bitwarden but after the above happened to me and I could not access my passwords when travelling abroad, I cancelled my paid subscription and never used it again.
What setting is that? Bitwarden stores the passwords in an online vault.Isn't that setting optional?
Some services have this as an option which you enable and then it doesn't allow you to log in from IP addresses not belonging to your ISP, region, country. This is some kind of DDoS protection on their side, I believe. What setting is that? Bitwarden stores the passwords in an online vault.
For the record, I am not the only one that has faced this issue with the IP block.
There are noumerous support tickets on their forum, as well as reddit posts from people that have been unable to login for some reason.
Because uBlock Origin gives you way more control then Brave's ad blocker does. It's just simple ad blocker with a few options, nothing else. Why even bother with 3rd party adblockers when Brave and Vivaldi, both have built in adblocking functionalities?
Combine them with DNS level blocking (ControlD, NextDNS) and you're good to go.
The question is: how many users (even on this forums) make use of the granular control uBlock0 gives them?Because uBlock Origin gives you way more control then Brave's ad blocker does. It's just simple ad blocker with a few options, nothing else.
Which filtering mode do you use with uBlock Origin Lite?I find uBOL mv3 works great on MS Edge on my old low-spec laptop.
At the moment I have only ticked the "EasyList/uBO – Cookie Notices" filter. I have set the default filtering mode set to Optimal, and only change it to Complete on a site to site basis.Which filtering mode do you use with uBlock Origin Lite?
