Serious Discussion Why does the Comodo "Disappearing HIPS rules" bug require a complete source code rewrite?

Yes. I could repeat the issue. If the HIPS rules window is opened too soon at Windows startup, the rules are simply not loaded into the window. Such a bug can totally disrupt the system if the user presses the OK button.

It happens not only after restart but also while one is using CIS. If CIS is busy creating / modifying a (new) rule in a background process than the HIPS rules list may appear empty at times, clicking on the OK button is than a fatal thing to do.

Yes. I noticed that as well, the rules are not parsed immediately on startup it seems.
