Why some people think Comodo Full of BUGS

It is called Time Machine because it gives you plenty of "Time" to restore your "Machine" from scratch.

You are not the only one that had bad experiences from Comodo Time Machine, I believe they remove it for awhile then it went abandoned and now it is back again. I remembering reading about all the problems it caused on Wilder's and other forums, but I didn't try it myself thank goodness. It has to be their worse product to date.

If i may add to this heated discussion.The only product of theirs i would definately steer clear of would be the comodo time machine.Its the only product of theirs ive personally had problems with.It destroyed my system completely.In time it maybe a good program,but at the moment its simply unsafe to use.

Time machines are very risky. Before installing it you would better make an image of the sys partition. Now I use CTM 2.8 on my new office PC with Win-7x64. Traditionally for COMODO CTM is not bug free but anyway it does its work.

It's remarkable that currently, Avast seems to have serious bugs, and I see Comodo IS 7 working fine on my system. So, don't blame only Comodo for bugs regarding free antivirus software.

Strange Did it actually work?
Some current issues of Avast for many PC's are:

• Somewhat slow Chrome launch speed.
• Problems with Dropbox.
• Hardened mode in Aggresive mode sometimes blocks windows components such as task manager or microsoft office apps..for some seconds or minutes.

Personally I cannot believe that eset av can cope well with undetected by the engine, malware. It's engine is very good, it detects variants and possible variants but if sth gets undetected there is no luck as I 've seen in VM testing.
It's hips can increase protection dramatically, but it must be set to learning mode, then interactive mode, and it will be still annoying when using the PC.

the biggest bugs & flaws & weakness of comodo internet security premium free latest version 7 are as follows :
1) the web & url filtering & antiphising component in comodo v7 series of products is just worthless & pathetic currently because of the very very weak web filtering & antiphising database & comodo currently doesn't gives any hourly & regular updates to the web filtering component to make it really better & good enough.
2) the detection capability of the antivirus engine of comodo has improved a lot better than earlier but the proper & complete removal capability of threats & malwares & stubborn & complex rootkits & worms & keyloggers & bots & trojans & spywares & others & any of their remainants & traces needs to be improved hugely which means the removal capability & removal power of the antivirus & antimalware & antispyware & antirootkit engine of comodo needs to be improved hugely than what it currently is.

the above two points & issues are currently the biggest & topmost security issues that the developers & security experts & programmers of comodo needs to resolve & fix as quickly as possible.

Maybe these are things you think need improvement but to call them bugs is incorrect

URL filtering really needs improvement.
About the removal of malware, you can see that Comodo cleaning essentials is two click away from the tasks view in CIS gui, and it can remove malware efficiently.
AV detection is acceptable and along with defense & autosandbox the result is very good.
There is room for improvement but CIS already provides very good protection for home users, better than many other free and paid software.
And as juhful says, these are not bugs.
