Microsoft usually releases non-security updates for Windows 11 and 10 on the final Monday of the month. This time, however, the latest "C-update" for Windows 11 version 24H2 was delayed all the way to Friday. If you are running Windows 11 version 24H2 on your computer and you want to try new features in the latest update, you can download KB5064081 with build number 26100.5074.

This month's non-security update for Windows 11 version 24H2 delivers plenty of new features and changes. They include a new home page for Recall on supported devices, a redesigned Windows Hello experience, more modernized Settings bits, improved Task Manager with a more accurate CPU workload indication, Windows Widgets improvements, and more.

Thanks for sharing this information. It's great to see Microsoft continue to improve and optimize Windows 11 with these non-security updates. The redesigned Windows Hello and improved Task Manager are particularly interesting. Users should ensure to keep their systems updated for the best experience.

That Windows Hello "Your system is offline. Use your PIN." and "Your fingerprint cannot be detected." are major annoyances, even if those errors don't stop Windows login/permit Windows login to continue.

Microsoft getting rid of its entire QA/QC division back in 2016 makes as much sense as wiping your butt with 60 grit sandpaper after a dookie. Who does that? Microsoft, apparently.
