Cheap Windows keys can work, but ensure it’s clear what you’re buying (retail vs. OEM). I got my Windows 11 key from Digitlogs for €13 and activation linked to my Microsoft account with no issues.

Even if they are retail keys, they are still being sold illegally and there is a small chance that Microsoft may eventually blacklist the product key. If you purchase cheap Microsoft keys, you are supporting scammers. However, there's no judgement from me if you do, as I have on occasion purchased cheap dodgy keys.

Not in EU, when acquired from old PCs, thus the reason MS has to honor them worldwide, because even if you activate them in USA, you can "legally" buy them in EU.
MS makes money from subscriptions, so this whole key business is obsolete and it will be deprecated soon. You can use 11 without activation anyway and Insider is free.
