I've never seen in all my years using computers an OS update that won't bug for someone. Not only Windows, any OS.

I'll wait until it's offered in Windows Update as well, I'm not in a hurry.
I think I will create a system backup and follow your steps, it sounds logical after reading other members posts.

I installed it over my old installation as mentioned, it did add a few store apps that were quickly removed using O&O - Apart from it adding a restore partition that I later removed things have gone very well, & I'm very pleased - The PC has had some hammer today without issue (should I have said that?) Though I don't have many problems anyway, if you save a image of your old installation it's easy to go back to pre 24H2

If someone want to upgrade to 24h2:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Manage updates offered from Windows Update

Downloaded the iso today morning, installed without problems, ran benchmark tests and scored overall best score than before, windows currently feels more snappier and responsive than before, they definitely upgraded something
That's my experience too, I did a clean install of previous Windows a few weeks ago & 24H2 is a definite improvement over it :)

I was hoping my failed WiFi can be recovered with the 24H2 update. But it still cannot work. Likely the WiFi 6E adapter already a gonner

Well, I'll just get the latest WiFi 7 adapter and try out

I have 2 LG GRAM laptops. One is the older with WiFi 6 and the later one with WiFi 6E. Anyone knows whether if I replaced both with the new WiFi 7 adapters do I need to change the built-in antennas?

Thanks
