I think I will create a system backup and follow your steps, it sounds logical after reading other members posts.I've never seen in all my years using computers an OS update that won't bug for someone. Not only Windows, any OS.
I'll wait until it's offered in Windows Update as well, I'm not in a hurry.
No. It won't reinstall your removed apps.If this is a full operating system swap, should I consider it will reinstall Windows store apps that I removed?
If someone want to upgrade to 24h2:

Check for updates and disable itDoes this need to be reset after updating?
That's my experience too, I did a clean install of previous Windows a few weeks ago & 24H2 is a definite improvement over itDownloaded the iso today morning, installed without problems, ran benchmark tests and scored overall best score than before, windows currently feels more snappier and responsive than before, they definitely upgraded something

I have been using 24H2 for months since the Enterprise RTM released. I have the LTSC version for my tablet and Home PC. I have the SAC version for my handheld and gaming PC. So far so good.I'm waiting for the gradual rollout because this is a major update. No fooling around here.
The LTSC version comes without the bloat. If you go for SAC like everyone else, then use this script. If this is a full operating system swap, should I consider it will reinstall Windows store apps that I removed?
I have this setting enabled all the time to control when I want to install next major update. Right now I have it set to 23H2 and will change value to 24H2 when I'm ready to install this version. Until then this setting will prevent me from installing it "by accident".Does this need to be reset after updating?
