Briefly explain your current issue(s)
Gets past loading files and freezes at "starting windows "
Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful
Tried different disks and different versions of the software. Also ran mem checks and all clean.
This is getting quite bad and been like this for a while.

Any help is much appreciated.

hello

over here you asked about a virus
http://malwaretips.com/threads/potential-virus-in-hdd-partition.35193/

and say

"I have tried 3 disks and 2 HDDs i noticed on the HDD that there is 2 partitions after format.
one is a system partition and it had 84MB free of 100. Is this a virus?"

it do's not sound like you wiped the hard drive you just formated it or there would not be
partitions left over after a format

have you tryed to write 0's to the hard drive then format it?

since you have Hirens Boot CD there should be something on it to wipe the hard drive and write 0's
to it

for this i use

Darik's Boot and Nuke
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dban/

doing this can take HOURS so make sure you have time then after wiping the hard drive format it
and try to install again

i know it can be frustrating but is how we learn

you could try and boot from a Linux Distro cd and see if it runs ok on the pc

:)

after running boot and nuke there will be nothing on the hard drive and the Windows 7 install disk might
not see it

then you would need to initialize the hard drive for MBR/GPT

:)

Ran it ans that "Ghost" partition keeps appearing with about 20MB taken. Windows still not installing. going to try Ubuntu.

Ran run Ubuntu from disk will try installing.

Never worked i think its the HDD

EDIT: I can no longer Access this HDD from my computer. Keeps saying not enough permissions also the disk is reading 0 bytes in size
