Is sign in Windows Hello using fingerprint/facial scan useful as a security measure?

Because if you intentionally use the wrong fingerprint/facial scan a couple of times it'll then prompt you to use your password/PIN to log in.

Or sign in using fingerprint/facial scan is a matter of convenience. Similarly, sign in for phones as well using biometrics

It is very useful:
  • Unlocking password manager
  • Log into various web app accounts
  • Use in MFA combo with hardware key (FIDO2 or YubiKey 5 series)
  • Windows account logon
  • Security settings configuration access in Microsoft account
  • etc

Sorry, I meant its usefulness as a security measure. Edited my starting post

And, with hardware security key, it works with local accounts only. Cannot work with admin account
