What are your experiences with Norton? I am thinking of purchasing a Norton license as well.
Currently I am running Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows with custom install.

Norton Security was light here. Overall I really liked it. The only thing was FPs with new programs/new versions of the programs. FPs I dont mean detection here. It gives "Unproven" popup i.e not enough data for the programs.

What motivated your decision to drop Norton in favor of KASPERSKY? Just wondering, I'm not trying to be biased. :p
I like both. IMO both provide solid protection.

I dont like toolbars & Norton toolbar is only for IE, Chrome & FF. I use Cyberfox & Vivaldi. Anyway but I hate toolbars. Plus Norton Security at times gives FPs i.e "Unproven" alerts with recommended action to delete/quarantine. I am fine with it. But this is a shared laptop with 3-4 average users. And they have absolutely zero knowledge of security.

I like Kaspersky too but Kaspersky Home products too have toolbar, HTTPS scan - this too I dont like plus additional software with no custom install. I tried Kaspersky Endpoint. It has custom install, no HTTPS scan, toolbar, additional software, etc... And it runs light on the system too. Clean & easy GUI. Low FPs.

Comparing both I find KES more suitable, easy & good to use on the system so running KES now.

Reverted back to KES.

Voodoo Shield Stable Version 2 has few quirks. Like sometimes it asks for whitelisted programs again. Sometimes for already scanned & whitelisted programs it gives alerts unknown & not found in the databases, etc...

Like hjlbx mentioned, it has probs.

Take a system image and store externally, or partition.
I am fine with Rollback Rx. If anything goes wrong I am fine to do OS reinstall. Data I do back up on external partition. I have never done system image...will think about it.
