I would like to know what are the different privacy & security extensions used by MT members here across various browsers.

Also let us know what the extension does too. Thanks! :)

FF addons:

uBlock origin (tweaked) (an efficient blocker. Easy on CPU and memory. blocking of ads, trackers, beacons etc.
Canvas Defender (Instead of blocking JS-API, Canvas Defender creates a unique and persistent noise that hides your real canvas fingerprint)
Decentraleyes (Protects you against tracking through "free", centralized, content delivery.)
HTTPS Everywhere (Encrypt the Web! Automatically use HTTPS security on many sites.)
IDN Safe (which blocks internationalized domain names to prevent you from visiting probable fake sites.)
Nano Defender (An anti-adblock defuser for Nano Adblocker and uBlock Origin)
Netcraft Extension (Comprehensive site information and phishing protection when browsing the web)
Privacy Badger (Privacy Badger protects you from trackers as you surf the web!)
VTZilla (Avoid infections and other unwanted outcomes when you receive a suspicious file or link by checking the file or link with VirusTotal’s free and easy service.)

Edit: Bitwarden (Password manager)

Cookie AutoDelete (auto-delete unused cookies from closed tabs while keeping the ones you want)
Decentraleyes (protects against tracking through "free", centralized, content delivery)
I don't care about cookies (get rid of annoying cookie warnings from almost all websites)
IDN Safe (blocks internationalized domain names to prevent visiting probable fake sites)
Netcraft (blocks XSS attacks, phishing and suspicious sites)
Poper Blocker (blocks annoying popups and some cryptomining)
Privacy Badger (blocks Trackers and WebRTC, not ADs generally)

Canvas Defender is great but it exposes its real fingerprint. For FF, CanvasBlocker not only fake its own fingerprint but hides its real fingerprint as well.

This has been tested here. No other anti-fingerprint extension or an anti-fingerprint feature in the extension (like ScriptSafe, Trace etc) is able to do this

Not for me, I use Chromium based browser and it still shows IDN, the real name can be seen only by painstakingly looking at the certificate.
I'm using Chrome and Ungoogled Chromium. IDN Safe is not required for they block punycode effectively. You can test the demos without IDN Safe below. Blocking of punycode(unicode domains) is more effective in Chrome/Ungoogled Chromium than in FF and that's why FF needs the IDN Safe extension.

:):ROFLMAO: My advice: MBAM (advertising & malware) or when you watch a lot of porn Avira (because Avira uses Adguard for advertisement blocking and Adguard is best adblocker for porn sites like e####ner or ####hub).

True, but IDN Safe blocks those sites automatically, even iframes/ADs. I do not always look at URL, but default deny is hard to overlook.
Uhh, makes me want to install yandex back. I somehow like yandex search over google. Yandex is bringing some uber alternative to finland and finnish newspapers are like '' yandex is stealing your data/info anything, be carefull''

But on topic. Firefox needs so much help so chromium based browsers are just easier to decide to go with

How big thing even is fingerpint protection? You can just block annoying spying domains out with adblocker so browser + ublock origin would be enough

Lets say i visit same 50 domains everyday, i trust those domains so whats the benefit i get from having fingerprint protection?
They cant see im the same person they target with ads, but how it matters when im not seeing any ads anyways, i dont login to buy anything from internet aswell so they cant cheat me with the prices

Probably the privacy comes within security so its less possible that someone could abuse your privacy when you have such good security.

I mean adblocking pop-up Windows, common sense to not open phishing links, protection against malware sites, having closed social media profiles, checking rules of android apps you have installed and such things

After all im thinking adblocker is the tool of privacy/security you only need. The more extensions you have, more visible you are

That's pretty much where I'm at:

Edge - Nano Adblocker - advanced user/medium mode - blocks ads, browser firewall

Brave
- Nano Adblocker - same as above
- MBBE - malware/phishing

Firefox
- uBO - same as Nano
- MBBE - malware/phishing, since FF needs help!
- cookie autodelete - cookie management
- FF Containers - isolates tabs/processes for privacy & security

I still use Edge the most because it's simple, clean and efficient for my uses! (y)

I guess nano adblocker + defender is the must, firefox is slacking on that side..and somewhat i end up installing tons of extensions for firefox wich is already heavier than chromium... so firefox is turn off

Edge is decent, waiting for nano defender to get in store someday. it feels like playing game at 30 fps constantly, when chromium would be like 60 all the time. bitwarden extension has been buggy since 1809 release, and browser is stuttering sometimes, but atleast 1809 fixed some bugs and theyre going forward slowly. I kinda gave up with edge, when they released mobile browser with blink engine, instead of having their own engine there

Brave is probably the best privacy/security browser out there currently, since it will have built in features and adding nano adblocker + defender you pretty much have everything you need. Probably no need for MBBE / netcraft, but still cant see reason to not install them

Its like lifetime cycle trying out browsers and constantly swapping them, youre lucky since youre keeping all installed on your pc on same time, because i always end up removing browser + files
