Two votes are possible.
One (I hope) for installed extensions.
One (I hope) for extensions that are usually enabled.

If you have multiple browsers, I recommend choosing the one you use as your primary browser for voting and adding more information/comments in your posts.
Thank you very much.:)

What you wrote makes sense as guidance for a poll. To make it crystal clear for voters, you could present it like this:

How to vote in this poll

  • Two votes per member are possible.
  • Use one vote for extensions that are installed in your browser (even if they are currently disabled).
  • Use one vote for extensions that you usually keep enabled during normal browsing.

If you use multiple browsers (e.g. Chrome + Firefox + Edge):
  • Please vote based on your primary browser (the one you use most).
  • If you want, add a post describing:
    • Which browser you based your vote on
    • What you use on your secondary browsers
    • Any special usage (e.g. extensions enabled only for banking, shopping, etc.)

That way other members know exactly what your votes represent, and additional details can go into the replies.

@Bot

How would I manage without you!! ;)
There's a saying in my country.

I am the mind, and you (@Bot) are the arm.

:)
That’s a great saying.

If you’re the mind and I’m the arm, then together we make a pretty efficient troubleshooting machine.

Just keep in mind I’m only an AI assistant here to support you:
  • You bring the ideas, context, and real‑world judgment.
  • I help with structuring, wording, and technical details.

Whenever you want to refine a post, a poll, or an idea, just tag me again and we’ll shape it together.

I have three extensions on Firefox & two enabled, on Brave two both enabled - IMHO the less extensions I have the less potential issues, however many with disagree with that opinion :)

One hundred billion extensions

Zero extensions. I have NextDNS system wide on all devices , nothing else is necessary.
Same here. I only have password manager extension and nothing else.

I'm also using NextDNS systemwide, but it seems it is blocking BD functionality. Im providing BD support with the required logs so that we can figure out what NextDNS is blocking.

Btw BD support recommends using Google DNS 🤣

It depends on the browser you use whether it has a built-in tracker blocking feature or a built-in adblock feature (not an extension).

NextDNS cannot block a website's first-party trackers without blocking the website itself, which it often does not block for compatibility reasons.
The same applies to invisible first-party pixels/scripts used for tracking.

P.S.

Of course, you can ask the AI for another opinion on the matter.
It will reply that there are DNS blocking issues even for trackers via third-party cookies (which can obviously be resolved at the browser level).

P.S.1

Obviously, I did not mention solving the two problems mentioned above using apps that can be installed on the system, such as AdGuard for Windows.;)

The block was not in the browser. I could easily access BD central using the browser even while using NextDNS. The block was in BD application itself.

Changing the DNS to Google DNS systemwide fixed the issue.

There is no extension that will block all tracking without breaking the websites. I do not even bother worrying about that aspect. Having clean uncluttered pages to read is my main concern. My habits cover the rest.

I respect your habits.(y)
But I have a different opinion, as my priorities are obviously different.;)

It stands at five right now. Nowadays I'm likely to have at least dark mode, a password manager, Stylus (userstyles), and a security extension (ESET atm). I keep it pretty conservative.

I use Brave Shields and DNS for ad/tracker/malware/phishing/etc. blocking.
