Dear Zemana,

About 1 year ago, I had my ZAL Lifetime key expired or no longer valid during a reinstall, Just yesterday I noticed that my ZMA for android was expired or the key is no longer valid, not sure if its an update on phone or something I or whoever used my phone did.... Keys I used was ZMA-GIVEAWAYME for my phone which was said to have 380 days of protection, its about 4 months and key is no longer valid on my phone, ZMA is one of those set it and leave it type of apps for me, glad I checked cause RealTime Protection is off for unknown amount of time.
I love that Zemana always gives out free codes for their products, but none of them seems to stay active for me.

Too Long, Didn't want to complain..... I lied, I am complaining or venting......

Zemana hates me...... and I am starting to advocate against Zemana, good thing is Most of my headaches with Zemana software is documented on MT.

Side Joke : I will always love you @frogboy even tho, you are the one who told me to give ZAL and ZMA another chance and offered the code to me. lol, Zemana just hates me, another email to them ended up Zemana giving me a link for 50% of their license...... Thank you for that awesome discount!

TL;DR - Zemana License for PC and Android license issues and I am just salty today!

I think you're not the only one having problems with how Zemana handles licenses. If I'm not mistaken, one of them is @Umbra. :)

I don't have any problem with Zemana licenses, though, because I have lifetime licenses (ZAM, ZAL, and ZMS). If there's a problem, I could just ask them countless times.:LOL::LOL:

Wait, so you have a lifetime license? Use that in your complaint.

That's cause you are not the chosen ones, and I congratulate you my friend! :p:p:p unless you want to be on Zemana Hate List :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
There are only a few of us who posted about it on MT, Not sure if @Umbra has his resolved but I know Ghost had his resolved.

Have not had a single problem with Zemana lifetime license system. Maybe because I have translated Zemana to my native language and they treat me with higher priority, but I highly doubt it. They always respond to my requests in less than 24h. Can't say anything bad.

Im not a classic user, i do format/reinstall my system several times a month, and i was annoyed to sent a mail everytime to reactivate my license, so i stopped to use it. Maybe i will try again later.

a small question umbra , if my memory serves me wall you da have rbrx installed , so why go into all this trouble and go and format and reinstall everything? and isn't this process harmful for the hdd / sdd if you perform this very often?

I have to do it when i want a new clean customized RX baseline.
And because i have RX and often rolling back, Zemana isn't in my baseline so when i needed it, i couldn't use it.

on SSD surely, but my test machine is on HDD so no big deal for me.

In regards to that, I am not a classic user myself as I do format constantly, install different version of Windows, server, enterprise, home, pro, etc... and experiment with them. I am okay with the PC license being revoke due to my constant install and formats.

My phone brought on April 2017 was used in the classic sense. To my surprise, the giveaway key I have gotten here for ZMA no longer validates........

It wouldn't be a problem if they implemented a more convenient licensing system, like based on an account (like Appguard) or on the Hardware (motherboard or HDD, like HMPA).

Well Said, Well Said!

It is what it is, Zemana just hates me, other members seem to be having a good experience with it and I am happy for them. For me, of all the security programs I have tested, Zemana is the only one that I seem to have a licensing issue and I admit I test a lot of AV and security suites and have went thru a lot of formats, OS reinstalls, and image restores... Every other AV's are smooth sailing.

Its just the phone license is frustrating. It would make sense if the activation during their giveaway is honored. Its not like I formatted or reset my phone and try to use the giveaway key again yesterday. ZMA was activated on my phone back in April 2017, and the license is no longer active.

TL;DR I am not salty anymore, just gotta let it out, thanks everyone! =D

Hi @Svoll, I understand your frustration, but really you should not think of Zamana hates you.
I had a similar problem: my ZAM lifetime license no longer worked after a series of OS image restores.
I resolved after my email where I explained the problem :)

Dear Kind Sir,

Thank you for speaking the truth on the licensing issues, It comes to the point where I no longer want to deal with it :giggle:.

This is my new quote when someone speaks of Zemana.
