Funny enough that is what I keep saying about ESET. No matter how many times I try to drift away, I keep going back.

i think when you are used to an efficient product for long time without major issues, you keep using it. Now i can't live without my CIS+EAM combo.

EAM is great but it slows down my cp noticeably.

Can i do anyhting about that?

try this guide, after compare your pc responsiveness : http://malwaretips.com/Thread-How-to-increase-responsiveness-of-your-Windows-system

if still slow because EAM, we will have other options

Still it kind of slow down the pc although i use Advance SystemCare v6 beta and have it enabled on top peromance and turbo boost mode deactivating useless win services.

One note: if you can get your hands on IObit Gamebooster, do so. Handy for the lazy mode of switching services and processes off on the fly and then resume:)

I believe you can tweak what to disable and not just stick to stock settings.

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 16/07/2012)

D+ on it's own won't stand on its ground if you throw malware at it. Sure it will hold most but you will still need a solution backup somewhere.

I have the Adblock Plus extension with easyprivacy lists. so far so good. I don't used the hosts like umbra and some others.

However my surfing habits can be different since I am a gamer.

Mamutu is EAM without the Real-time AV and Surf protection, yes you can use it alongside Comodo, of course D+ is enough, mamutu will give you another (optional) layer of security.

neither comodo or EAM disable ads. it is the job of softwares like Admuncher or bowser's addons like Adblockplus and co.

Didn't Admuncher disable adverts within applications at one stage?

3. Proactive Detection Technology : Block even unknown threats
New and unknown threats are identified and blocked using Roboscan's proactive detection technology. Roboscan analyzes suspicious files in an isolated virtual environment to detect potential threats before they occur.

How are you liking it? it seems to have a sandbox and the suite is free correct?

Removes advertising in programs like Pando, SopCast, ICQ, Morpheus, Kazaa, PalTalk, iMesh, Bearshare, LimeWire, Yahoo! Music Jukebox, TVAnts and more.

AdBlockPlus by fanboy or AdBlock chrome plugin? which is best? I lso use NoScript but some sites require javascript to run.

Also what is prefered as a 2nd AV Mamutu or HitMan Pro?

I use adblock for chrome and easylist, mamutu is a behavior blocker not an AV...Emsisoft Anti-Malware is a wonderful second opinion AV.

So far so good with Roboscan. I am missing my hips protection though. Yes Bio the suite is free, to be honest this is a suite I'd install on customers machines, it's just set and forget.

Removed Roboscan
Re-added: Avira free and Comodo firewall with d+ I just love these two products and I think they go together really well.

Also added: Emet 3.5 beta.

Just so as people know I had no problems at all with roboscan and I've been reccomending it to friends and family as a free suite, but as stated above I love Avira and comodo for my own machine.
