As I know, this specific product uses its own engine, not related to Kaspersky in any way, and it is not very good.

No, this product is base in Kaspersky engine, and for what I read in the latest version of it.

version beta is an antivirus, lmt antimalware is more complete;
comodo internet security is a suite complete;
360 total security protect more than zone alarm beta...

I'm glad you like LMT Antimalware but please don't say that.
LMT AntiMalware is just a free and 1-man project. It should not be compared with an antivirus software from a famous company.

Good that you as developer are honest about that and dont trick people into using it as a standalone solution.
