However, this is not a legitimate Guinness website, but a phishing site that mimics the appearance of the official one. The link is also designed to bypass spam filters by using a dotless domain name (linkgo[.]is) and adding random characters at the end.
How The Scam Works
If you click on the link, you will be taken to a fake Guinness survey page where you will be asked to answer some questions about your preferences and habits regarding beer consumption. The questions are irrelevant and only serve to make the scam look more convincing.
After completing the survey, you will be told that you have won a free mini fridge and that you need to share the link with 20 friends or 5 WhatsApp groups in order to claim your prize. This is a common tactic used by scammers to spread their malicious links and reach more potential victims.
