Webroot Internet Security Complete 2011 – an outdated suite [Review]

By Stelian1 min read

Pros :

  • It has a simple and sleek interface
  • You have 10GB online storage space
  • Decent antivirus engine

Cons :

  • Noisy firewall , will drive you nuts.
  • Noticeable system impact
  • Total lack of features that can prevent 0 day threats.
  • No parental controls
  • Price tag – $79.95/year

Bottom Line : The antivirus it’s not really bad (tested with MDL links it detected 85-90% of the 0 day malware sampes) however this is a security suite and so it should be packed with more features that can prevent 0 day threats.
If you add that it slowed my system and the big price tag ( $79.95 per year),the conclusion can be only one : No Thank You!
