It's been a whole month now, since the VPN browser extention issue, that the latest Kaspersky product versions are experiencing, was first reported. Just how hard is it to identify the root cause of the problem, which wasn't there in 21.16, and is now such a huge problem for many customers?... It kinda makes me wonder if I perhaps should just switch back to the default Windows protection instead of opting out for all of these paid commercial solutions, which are full of bugs just the same...I mean, Kaspersky just got the Product of the Year award from AV-Comparatives, and now they've been struggling for a month to solve some minor browser extention issue...C'mon, guys, this is not making any sense... Unless it has something to do with the crackdown on VPN solutions in Russia.

Their browser extensions are quite frankly completely useless and do not provide any additional protection to their desktop apps. I would just stick to using their desktop programs and keep your browser clear of any AV extensions. They just collect data for no reason.

I guess He is not talking about K. extension, but an issue in the last version 21.17 that does not allow VPN add-on in browser, for example, VPN Opera, Edge VPN, and so on...

I hope they will fix it in upcoming 21.18 still in its 2nd beta build now, K. devs are already away and has been reported, just a bit of patient, also I published a temporal workaround You can create in Intrusion Prevention -> Manage Apps, for those browsers.
