You could use NoVirusThanks EXE Radar

Wouldn't NoVirusThanks EXE FREE be better because it's free?

Might but so do the backup options I suggest. So like I'll say again take a look at the free option might be better.

You are going off topic.
But hey I shall reply:

Difference between you and me: You suggest Paid solutions only, I suggest Free.

Also, If you have looked into OP post, Appguard is solely a paid solution. What I offered was a solution alternative that has both paid and free solution.

Try not to steer off topic McLovin and make it all about yourself.

You have a VM, you have the resources, so how about this suggestion: test it yourself?

@ Stranger yes the free version of NoVirusThanks EXE Radar
is not as good as AppGuard and I am afraid I don't know of any
free program that is as good as AppGuard,
If you happen to find one please let me know as I would be interested in trying it out,

i have licenses of both appguard and EXE radar pro, both are excellent products and if user is advanced then either can be used as a av replacement.

Arsenoyal:I think you can rely on appguard and remain without real time av but with other product i am not so sure

Why pay for this when you can get the excellent CIS with HIPS the lot for free.
NVT exe radar pro.?...again just a whitelisting app with overtones of a HIPS.
