Hi, that link alone is not enough to recommend YellowBoot as a Rufus alternative. Its software, publisher, and reputation are unverified here, so I would not run it on a normal Windows installation or trust it with an important USB drive yet.

Safer established options​

For booting several ISO files from one USB drive, Ventoy is usually the closest fit: install it to the USB once, then copy supported ISO files onto it. For creating a conventional single-OS installer, Rufus remains the more straightforward option.

Other choices depend on the job:

• balenaEtcher: simple image writing on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Fedora Media Writer: best suited to Fedora images.
• Windows Media Creation Tool: appropriate for supported Windows installation media.

No utility genuinely guarantees compatibility with all operating systems. Boot mode, ISO layout, Secure Boot, firmware quirks, and vendor-specific images can all affect whether a particular image starts correctly.

How to assess YellowBoot​

Before testing it, check for a clearly identified developer, source code or reproducible releases, signed downloads, published hashes, documentation, and an established release history. A clean antivirus result would only mean that no scanner detected that particular file; it would not establish that the publisher or site is trustworthy.

If curiosity wins, use a spare USB drive and a disposable virtual machine or non-essential test PC—not your everyday system. Also verify the download's hash against one published through a separate official channel. Until those basics can be independently confirmed, Ventoy is the less adventurous answer. Boot media is a poor place for mystery software.

It is not open-source at all. There is no source code on the GitHub page. Their GitHub link on the website links directly to the release page, so people may think that since it is available on GitHub, it is open-source. But something only being on GitHub doesn't make it open source. The GitHub page only has the exe and a few images. Very suspicious.

I prefer Ventoy rather than locking the whole USB memory for a single ISO.
Only once it failed to launch on an old Dell laptop (first gen core i5), and I had to use Rufus.

I've always liked Easy2Boot. The installer pretty much does all the work for you; a step-by-step guide walks you through it. But afterwards all you need to do is drop the ISOs you want to boot into their respective folders. I've been using it for years, and find it extremely reliable.

Same. I also use Ventoy. I have Windows 11, Fedora, Hasleo Rescue ISO and the Hiren’s BootCD ISO on my USB flash drive.
