System runs fast...there is no difference to eset.

I've got a very cheap license for 4years...so thats will be my new superlight combo,
but i have a focus on the WR Data folder

from one day to the next, the disappointment started. I dont know what happened in background, but the system began to jerk
and the windows defender was active parallely with webroot. A reboot doesnt work to fix this problem.

added for testing: Qihoo 360 TS ( with avira engine enabled + ads blocked with firewall)

I actually didn't want to change anymore...but i dont like and trust Qihoo 360
-> never change a runnig system -> back to Eset Nod32 with a new license

- Trend Micro AV+. little bit heavy...boring...no improvements
- Win Defender with High settings via ControlDefender. very light and fast boot and app start...could be my new love

You can try McAfee Endpoint Security, has more options for tweaking.

Pretty much the same setup i'm using. Tho i'm using 3rd party firewall thats not based on WFP. Its securrity measure for not using WFP based firewall as a firewall.

You shouldn't claiming a personal opinion as true facts, of course some people believe the same as you about Windows-Firewall(WFP), but that isn't a fact as a lot of major vendors antivirus-suites still using WFP included together with the own tech of Firewall, so we can say using or not it's just personal preference and for sure it has nothing to do with it's less secure to use products which offering only a Firewall based on WFP!

F-Secure is good, but its DeepGuard can't compete against TM Apex BB.

Sorry but TrendMicro is not particularly known for its Behaviour Blocker to begin with. Based on your posts, it seems you favor TM more than anything, which is fine but pls do not force your opinion constantly in comparison to Trend Micro.
